FADS AND TRENDS! NOTHING REPLACES HARD WORK AND GOOD NUTRITION

It seems like every day there is new way to get in shape.  Whether it’s a new type of exercise or new equipment or the latest weight loss super drink.  I really am sick of all of it.  I have been involved with the fitness industry since 1982 and the bottom line is; it’s never easy!  If you want fast results be prepared for them to disappear just as fast.  You can run hundreds of miles or go to so-called Boot Camps, Crossfit or whatever the trend is at the time.  You will not reach optimum health unless you work hard and combine that with good nutrition.

What is good nutrition?  I could go on and on about the benefits of a raw vegan diet but I won’t because that is a path a lot of people don’t want to follow.  I understand that.  So I will tell you to be healthy, as healthy as you can while eating animal productsJ, you need to cut out all processed foods.  Nothing out of a can or box, fresh fruits and veggies.  Your meat should be grass fed and local.  So, for those of you who don’t know that is basically the Paleo Diet.  For those of you looking at the title, Paleo or Raw for that matter isn’t a trend or fad it is actually the way we were eating before we became industrialized. I would direct you to Genesis 1:29, GOD’s nutritional plan.

If you think you can exercise and eat poorly you are in for a rude awakening.  It may not happen while you are young but eventually the fat laded food will destroy your body.  If you think you can eat well and not exercise again this will catch up with you as your body will start to deteriorate if not maintained.

Short and to the point; exercise everyday and eat whole fresh food and your body will change, slowly, to a well oiled efficient machine capable of anything you mind is capable of.  Stop looking for easy and fast or making excuses for your lazy ass.  Get moving and change your diet!
