I am only sharing this with you to give you some insight as to why I do the things I do, and to get you off your ass and into the game. My main objective is to get you to become a part of The Runners In Touch Children's Team and make a difference in a troubled kid's life.
I'm not going to give you a sob story about my childhood, just the facts. My mother has been married 4 times, and for those of you who know me, that already explains a lot. I had different losers in and out of my life until I was 12. Then my mother married, for the last time, an OK guy. Things did change for the better a bit. My sister and I were subjected to drunken parties that included the rest of my "white trash" family. This wasn't an everyday thing but often enough, which probably explains why I don't drink in front of my kids.
I suppose you are wondering about my father. Me too. I was told many things, none too positive. The only positive was that he was a good-looking man. He was a car thief, drug dealer, wife beater.... a hell of a guy. I never met my father, he had been in and out of jail most of his life. I did Google his name about three years ago and things just got worse. He was on the sex offenders' list for statutory rape and now he is dead. The hits just keep on coming!
The reason I tell you this is to let you know that all kids NEED a positive role model. I was lucky and had sense enough to get out when I could and joined the Marines. It was the best time in my life and an organization filled with great role models. Jesus and Paula saved me, the Marines made me. :) YOU can be the role model in a kid's life that has it much worse than I had.
Make a difference!! RIT Children's Team goes to Gillis once a month. What is Gillis? It is a home for boys, 4-18yrs old, who have been taken from their homes for their safety. It could be drugs, abuse.... the point is they need us!! They need YOU! They hungry for direction and thirsty for love. You can be their oasis and they might just help you.

Our President is an Angry Teenager!
It's been about a week since the want-a-be Dictator spoke to us little people and told us that it doesn't matter what we want he knows best. After watching the address and reading the pundits comments I have reached a conclusion that won't go over very well. If anyone ever starts reading my stuff I'm sure I will be on the DHS most wanted list. I already meet the profile established by this administration. I'm a strict Constitutionalist, Pro-Life Christian, Conservative, gun owner and former military. Basically every, commie, Marxist, progressive libs nightmare:)
What I saw last week from our president and have noticed this past year is a little punk with the mentality of a teenager. You parents stay with me. Before I go on I want you to take the time to think about every rebellious teen you have known. Teachers, parents, aunts and uncles think hard and remember how that pain in the ass teen thought and acted. Are you with me now? Here goes. The teen won't listen to reason. He is right against all logic. If you argue with him he hates you and you are an obstacle to his dream. Sound familiar?
When Obama addressed the Nation last week he continued his big government dreams despite what the American people have made abundantly clear. We are tired of the spending and taxing. This year the Democrats have lost 3 major races as a referendum on this administration. In a speech to the GOP Obama had the nerve to say his agenda was centrist. he thinks everyone is stupid. We are all, including other elected officials, just too stupid to comprehend his big picture. Only if we could see it through his brilliant eyes we would understand.
Back to the teenager. I have never seen a president talk so angry and condescending to the public as this little punk has for the past year. If you don't agree with him then you just don't understand what he is trying to do. His anger and hatred for what this country is and stands for drips from every pour of his skin. He mocks Free speech he attacks the Free market and everything is the fault of someone else. He even berated the Supreme Court for their last decision on campaign finance. I understand if he disagrees but do it in another venue. A press conference and with a little respect. He is still blaming Bush for our current problems!! When does this poor excuse of a man "man up" and take responsibility for the current state of our country. Hell he is in charge of the banks and the auto industry. He wants control of 1/3 of our economy, Healthcare. I do believe he is responsible for a few things that has happened this past year. NO, like the angry, self-involved teenager he can't understand why the stupid people won't listen and do what he says! In the future watch his facial expressions and body language. As well as listening to his words. He is a combative angry brat!
Obama is on a collision course, it may take another year since he has the media and academia worshipping at his feet. They get tingles up their leg you know:). So are you part of the problem or are you part of the solution? Do you want MASSIVE INTRUSIVE government? You know to "Fundamentally Change America" Obama's words! OR do you want the Country our Founders Estabished long ago! Get involved at your local level and help make the changes that need to be made. The 2010 elections are the most important agenda right now. If we can get rid of Pelosi and Reid that will be a big victory towards 2012. I don't think Pelosi will be voted out, those crazy libs in San Fran love her. But she can lose the Speaker position. That way she will have time for more plastic surgery:)
